Woven 2×2 inch cowhide strips take this standard square-shaped pillow from simple to spectacular. Our leather artisans have tanned premium all-natural cowhides to perfection, making them silky and supple, shed-free with that wonderful fresh leather smell.

Then, with a keen eye for creating textural depth and interest, they have cut the hair-on-hides into 2 inch strips, varying the cuts in direction to catch light and shadow and shift the way the color looks on each piece.

Next, using the traditional basket weave pattern used by many ancient civilizations for over 10,000 years, they interweave the strips creating a sturdy fabric of small squares. They have created cowhide pillows in 16×16, 20×20 and 24×24 inch sizes, so you can mix sizes or find just the right size for your space.
